Privacy policy

Tricot & Crochet (“Tricot”, “the app”) is an app for generating knitting and crochet patterns. This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and how you can delete it. We wrote it to be understood.
The short version
- You can use the whole app without creating an account. In that case your projects are stored only on your phone and we receive nothing.
- If you create an account, we store your email and your projects so you can restore them on another device.
- There are no ads, no trackers and no analytics tools. We do not sell your data or share it for commercial purposes.
- You can delete your account and all its data from inside the app, at any time.
What data we handle

The app does not access your location, contacts, camera or microphone.
Where it is stored
Without an account, everything stays in your phone's storage and is removed when you uninstall the app.
With an account, data is hosted with these providers, who act on our behalf and only to deliver the service:
- Supabase: database and sign-in system.
- Resend: delivery of account emails, such as the code to change your password.
Each person can only read and change their own data; access is restricted per account in the database itself.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. When you delete it, your profile, projects and patterns stored in the cloud are erased immediately.
How to delete your account and data
In the app: Account tab → Delete my account. Deletion is permanent. Projects stored on your phone stay there until you delete them or uninstall the app.
If you cannot get into the app, write to us from your account's email address at hola@tricotcrochet.app and we will delete it for you.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to hola@tricotcrochet.app. We reply within 20 business days at most.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything important, we will update the date above and announce it inside the app.
